The Invitation Place offers a complete range of services, doing as much or as little as you need when it comes to making your event invitations and stationery.

Designer Handcrafted Stationery

Consider this the works! With this service, The Invitation Place takes care of everything, from design, to production and all the way to delivery. This is our area of expertise and what we love doing!

Our online shop houses our collection of designer invitations and stationery, all ready to order.  We are continually adding more designs, and these are showcased on our home page slide show as new arrivals.

Like one of our designs but want to change something? Have a vision you’d like to see brought to life? No worries! We’d be thrilled to work with you and make that dream a reality. Contact us for a free design consultation.

Our designer handcrafted invitations start at just $5.30 per invitation and include a matching envelope or invitation box, depending on the design. Obviously, this service is our most expensive and our prices relate to the type and quantity of materials used, and the labor required to hand craft your pieces.

We do cater to small budgets, so please ask us how our designs can be made cheaper.

It takes approximately between 4 and 6 weeks for us to handcraft your order. We do, however, accept rush orders depending on our workload at the time. We charge a premium fee on all rush orders, so please contact us; for a quote before placing your order.

Designer Stationery Kits

A popular option for those wanting to have an input into creating their invitations and stationery, all of our designer handcrafted invitations and stationery are available in kit format.

We take the hard work out of creating invites (the design, printing and cutting) and leave the fun and satisfaction for you to enjoy!

You order will arrive with all paper and card printed with wording of your choice and cut to size, and all embellishments cut to size (where applicable, e.g. ribbon). The only thing you’ll need to worry about is adhesives, but we help with that too, providing you with a guide as to the glue and tape products we recommend from our online shop, and the quantities you are likely to need. You’ll also be provided with full instructions on how to assemble your invitations so you can enjoy creating your masterpieces.

The best bit about our kits is the price. You’ll save anywhere from 15% to over 50% off the cost of our hand crafted service!

DIY: Do It Yourself

The Invitation Place has an extensive selection of premium paper, card, embellishments and tools in our online shop.

We recommend planning your design and testing all of its components. Create a sample of each of the items you intend on making, and test your printer out to make sure it can handle your chosen paper and card stock.

Almost all of our DIY supplies are available in individual units to encourage you to try before you buy in bulk.

When you have finished creating your samples, consider how much time it has taken, the print quality, your assembly skills and the overall look of the design. Is there anything we can help you with? Remember, The Invitation Place can do as much or as little as you need, and we're here to make this stage of your event preparations as stress free as possible.  

Carefully calculate the quantities of supplies you are going to need, and always allow for error – it happens to even the most experienced of us!

Blank Invitations

We understand that sometimes you just don’t have the time or the budget to order a designer invite, which is why we have a great range of blank invitations to choose from in our online shop

We cover a wide variety of invitations for special events such as weddings or christenings; right through to everyday activities like BBQ’s and pool parties!

Blank invitations come in two different types; Fill-Ins and Printable's. Each invite clearly states in the product description which type it is.

Fill-In’s are your traditional type of party invite. The have set fields to hand write your event information into, e.g. date, time, venue, rsvp. There isn't much room for flexibility, but they are great if you only want to include standard information. /p>

Printable’s are an exciting way to achieve a professional looking result! You have the flexibility to include as much (or as little) information as you like, as apart from the design, they are completely blank. You’ll receive an easy to use template where you type in your event details and print directly onto the invitations. It’s that simple!
